After starting into the CAD/CAM world with Numerys HC, a hybrid ceramic block, ITENA Clinical is launching today the first glass fiber block dedicated to post-and-core milling: NUMERYS GF.
Patented composition, this new material composed of 80% radio-opaque unidirectional glass fibers and 20% epoxy resin allows a 100% metal-free reconstitution. Numerys GF thus offers a lighter post-and-core for a better comfort in the mouth and an aesthetic result: no opacification of the necessary structure, absence of metallic lily.
It also has excellent mechanical strength and a modulus of elasticity similar to that of dentine, which minimizes the risk of fracture. The anatomical shape of the post-and-core allows a better adhesion between the canal, the post-and-core and the crown.
