Ionoglass cement


Indications
· Powder (blend of strontium fluoroaluminosilicate glass) and liquid (dry tartric acid and polyacrilic acid).
· Definitive sealing on inlays, crowns, bridges and orthodontic brackets.
· Dental cement base.


Advantages
· Biocompatibility.
· Sharp set.
· Compatible with composite resins, resin-modified glass ionomer cements and dental amalgams.


Direction for use :
· Put the powder and the liquid on a mixing block: 1 spoon of powder for 3 drops of liquid.
· Introduce the powder into the liquid with a plastic spatula.
· Mix briskly for 20s.
· For a liquid consistency, use slightly less powder.
· For larger quantities, divide the powder into 2 equal parts. Mix the first half with the liquid for 5s and then incorporate the second half of powder. Mix for 15s.
